SUMMARY:Colloque Jeunes Chercheur·euses de l'ADRIPS 2025
DESCRIPTION:L’ADRIPS\, le Laboratoire de Psychologie et l’Université Marie et Louis Pasteur organisent cette année le 17ème Colloque Jeunes Chercheurs et Jeunes Chercheuses (CJC). Ce colloque donne l’opportunité aux doctorants et doctorantes ainsi qu’aux jeunes chercheurs et chercheuses en psychologie sociale de présenter leurs travaux et d’être évalués par leurs pairs. Ce colloque a aussi pour but de favoriser l’insertion dans le monde universitaire\, pour ceux et celles qui se destinent à une carrière académique dans l’enseignement supérieur\, en France et en Europe. SUMMARY:Le printemps des odeurs de l’Océan Indien
DESCRIPTION:Le premier Congrès Printemps des odeurs de l’Océan Indien : L’odorat au service de la santé et de l’éducation\, se tiendra les vendredi 6 et samedi 7 juin 2025 à la Réunion et en distanciel. Cet événement est organisé avec le soutien de l’association Nez en Herbe et Anosmie.org\, il réunira des experts de l’olfaction pour des conférences\, table ronde et ateliers intéractifs. \n\n\n\nMaryse Delaunay (MC\, LPCN) participe à cet événement\, le 7 juin à 9h elle réalisera une communication orale intitulée : Bénéfices d’un éveil olfactif en crèche : 1ers résultats du projet EVOLF. Elle animera également un atelier l’après midi : Pourquoi et comment éveiller l’odorat des jeunes enfants pré-verbaux. \n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nProgramme\n\n\n\nInscription\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMaryse Delaunay est maîtresse de conférences au LPCN. Ses recherches portent sur le développement de la cognition olfactive\, son objectif est de comparer les trajectoires de développement de jeunes enfants évoluant au sein de contextes socio-éducatifs différents. Elle est impliquée dans le programme de recherche SCOPE.

DESCRIPTION:La conférence internationale biannuelle sur la psychologie environnementale\, l’ICEP (International Conference on Environmental Psychology)\, se déroulera  du 15 au 18 juin 2025 à l’université Mykolas Romeris à Vilnius (Lituanie). Cette conférence est une référence mondiale pour les chercheurs et les professionnels de la psychologie environnementale. Elle vise à enrichir le dialogue et la coopération interdisciplinaire entre la psychologie et d’autres disciplines\, comme l’économie\, le marketing\, l’architecture\, la géographie\, les sciences naturelles\, etc.\, afin de renforcer les liens entre la recherche et les politiques environnementales. Le thème de cette édition 2025 sera « Faire face à la crise environnementale face aux défis géopolitiques. » \n\n\n\nCamille Langlais (docteure en psychologie\, ATER\, LPCN) interviendra lors de cet événement. Le 17 juin\, à 12h\, lors de la session S-071 – Climate Change Action\, elle réalisera une communication orale intitulée : \n\n\n\n« Does psychological distance to climate change affect climate action? preregistered meta-analyses of correlational and experimental evidence »\n\n\n\nC. Langlais\, M. Mauduy\, A. Chesterman\, C. Demarque\, C. Sénémeaud\n\n\n\n\nAbstract\nIn a report on climate change\, the Council of Europe (2016) recommended to ‘bring climate change […] to the present\, to a local scene and to a similar social setting’ to encourage public engagement. In psychology\, this ubiquitous idea has been studied through the concept of psychological distance (PD) to climate change (Milfont\, 2010). However\, while numerous correlational and experimental studies have been conducted\, three recent systematic reviews have yielded conflicting conclusions regarding the role of PD in climate action\, with one reporting significant relationships (Maiella et al.\, 2020)\, a second highlighting inconsistent effects (Keller et al.\, 2023) and a third indicating no impact of PD (van Valkengoed et al.\, 2023). To address these contrasting positions\, we are conducting two pre-registered meta-analyses (provisionally accepted Stage 1 Registered Report: https://osf.io/v8953) to assess the average effect of measured or manipulated PD to climate change on climate action\, and to examine some potential moderators (e.g.\, national vulnerability\, PD dimensions). From a total of 1\,350 keyword-identified articles and 33 additional published or unpublished studies\, we included 42 correlational and 33 experimental studies in the final sample. Based on ongoing meta-analytical analyses (to be completed by the end of January)\, we will provide novel insights into whether empirical evidence supports a negative effect of PD on climate action in correlational and experimental studies\, while also describing potential between-study factors that could moderate this relationship. SUMMARY:Congrès 2025 de la Research Society on Alcoholism (RSA)
DESCRIPTION:La Research Society on Alcoholism (RSA) est une société savante fondée en 1976\, basée à Austin\, au Texas. Son objectif est de faire progresser la recherche sur les troubles de l’usage d’alcool et ses effets physiologiques et cognitifs. La RSA organise un congrès scientifique annuel en collaboration avec l’International Society for Biomedical Research on Alcoholism (ISBRA). C’est un lieu de rencontre et d’échange entre scientifiques et cliniciens du monde entier. Elle permet également aux membres et aux non-membres de la RSA de présenter leurs dernières découvertes en matière de recherche sur l’alcool par le biais de séances plénières\, colloques\, tables rondes et ateliers. Cette année\, le 48ème congrès de la RSA se déroulera du 21 au 25 juin à la Nouvelle Orléans.  \n\n\n\nDeux membres du LPCN participent à cet événement. Hélène Beaunieux (PU\, LPCN) et Ludivine Ritz (MC HDR\, LPCN) présenteront deux posters\, le premier le lundi 23 juin à 17h lors de la session poster 2 : \n\n\n\nEffect of Cognitive Remediation on the Recovery of Neuropsychological Disorders in Sud Patients with Comorbidities in Therapeutic Communities.\n\n\n\nHélène Beaunieux\, Simon DENIEL\, Marion DELARUE\, Heloise JAUNET\, Suzie Longbottom\, Nicolas Kenens\, Louise Quételard\, Stéphane Lozé\, Maelys Miquel\, Nicolas Bourguignon\, Marine Gaubert\, Ludivine RITZ \n\n\n\n\nAbstract\nPurpose: Therapeutic Communities (TCs) are care units that provide treatment for individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) who also have frequent psychiatric\, neurological\, and medical comorbidities. These SUDs\, along with the associated comorbidities\, can result in neuropsychological impairments that may impede the efficacy of addiction treatment. Nevertheless\, the efficacy of cognitive remediation in TC residents with SUD and comorbiditiesremains largely uninvestigated.Methods: Two groups of age- and education-matched TC residents\, who had benefited (N=22) or not (N=23) from a cognitive remediation program during their stay\, were clinically examined and completed questionnaires assessing the presence of psychiatric\, neurological\, and hepatic comorbidities at the time of admission. All residents were screened for neuropsychological disorders using the BEARNI tool at the time of admission to the CT (T1) and after a period of eight months (T2). Linear mixed-effects models were used to examine the effects of time (T1\, T2) and experimental condition (with or without cognitive remediation) on BEARNI scores. Time and condition were included as fixed effects\, while random intercepts were specified for participants to account for individual variability. The model also incorporated a time-by-condition interaction term to explore differential effects of the experimental condition over time.Results: The two groups of patients exhibited comparable levels of SUD severity\, neuropsychological disorders\, and comorbidities at T1. The linear mixed-effects models revealed a significant main effect of time on all the BEARNI scores indicating that cognitive performance improved between T1 and T2. The analysis revealed notable trends in the interaction between time and condition for several BEARNI scores. This indicates that the cognitive remediation group tend to exhibit a more pronounced improvement between T1 and T2 in comparison to the non-cognitive remediation group.Conclusion: The preliminary results indicate that\, despite the presence of numerous comorbidities that can exacerbate neuropsychological disorders in TC residents\, cognitive remediation can facilitate their improvement over an eight-month period. These substance disorders\, associated with such complications\, can lead to neuropsychological impairments that may to hinder the benefit of addiction treatment. However\, the specific risk factors associated with the neuropsychological profile of TC residents at entry have never been explored.Methods: Residents of three French TCs (n=61; 82% male) underwent clinical interviews and questionnaires assessing psychiatric\, neurological and liver history\, substance use\, alcohol-related problems (with the AUDIT)\, nicotine dependence (with the Fagerstrom test) and current anxiety and depression comorbidities (with the HAD scale). They also underwent an extensive neuropsychological examination assessing four cognitive domains: episodic memory\, working memory\, visuospatial abilities and executive functions. Moderate impairment was defined as at least two affected cognitive domains. All assessments were conducted within the first fifteen days of admission to the TC. To identify risk factors associated with neuropsychological impairment\, forward logistic regression was performed\, using demographic (age\, sex\, education and TC)\, clinical and substance use variables as predictors\, and moderate impairment (0 =preserved and 1 =impaired) as the outcome.Results: The majority of TC residents had AUD and used tobacco (88% and 96%\, respectively)\, consuming cannabis (80%) and drugs including benzodiazepines (57%)\, with most being polysubstance users. Regarding medical conditions\, 39% had a history of liver disease\, 57% a history of neurological disease\, and at entry\, 60% reported current anxiety and 84% current depression. More than 1/3 of residents (36%) had moderate impairment. Sex (male)\, higher Fagerstrom score\, a negative anxiety score on the HAD\, younger age\, a positive liver history\, and higher depression score on the HAD were significant risk factors for moderate impairment at TC entry.Conclusion: The results indicate that demographic variables\, nicotine dependence\, a liver history and current psychiatric comorbidities were significant predictors of moderate impairment in TC’s residents at entry. SUMMARY:9e Colloque Interdisciplinaire de l'ARPEnv
DESCRIPTION:L’Association pour la Recherche en Psychologie Environnementale (ARPEnv) et le MODIS (Mobilité Durable\, Individu\, Société) organisent le 9ème Colloque Interdisciplinaire de l’ARPEnv : Rôle des environnements vécus sur les modes de vie (durables). Il se tiendra du 25 au 27 juin 2025 à l’Université Gustave Eiffel à Lyon. Ce colloque propose de considérer l’évolution des modes de vie\, des représentations\, des comportements et des pratiques comme dépendante de contextes structurants. Dans une perspective systémique et en référence à la théorie du champ de Lewin (1997)\, les modes de vie seront à la fois abordés comme les produits et les déterminants de ces contextes. Cette rencontre sera l’occasion de renouveler et approfondir\, dans une réflexion interdisciplinaire\, la relation entre des modes de vie plus ou moins durables et les environnements dans lesquels ils s’ancrent et s’objectivent. \n\n\n\nCamille Langlais (docteure en psychologie\, ATER\, LPCN) interviendra lors de cet événement.
