SUMMARY:Workshop lors de la conférence EARLI SIG 16
DESCRIPTION:The European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI) est une association scientifique internationale pour les chercheurs dans le domaine de l’éducation. L’un des principaux objectifs de l’EARLI est d’encourager la communication entre les chercheurs par le biais de groupes d’intérêt spéciaux (SIG). Les SIG soutiennent des activités telles que réunions\, des bulletins d’information et des publications. Les années paires\, les 27 SIG organisent leur propre conférence internationale dans leur thématique de recherche. La conférence SIG 16 propose un espace de rencontre et d’échanges pour les chercheurs intéressés par les dernières découvertes dans le domaine de la métacognition et l’autorégulation dans les apprentissages. La 11e conférence EARLI SIG 16 aura lieu en Allemagne\, à Heidelberg et se déroulera du 10 au 13 septembre 2024\, le thème de la conférence est : Donner du pouvoir aux apprenants et façonner l’avenir de l’éducation. \n\n\n\nUn membre du LPCN organise un Workshop dans le cadre de la pré-conférence. Sandrine Rossi (PU\, LPCN\, Université de Caen Normandie) et son collaborateur Jérôme Clerc (PU\, LPNC\, Université Grenoble Alpes) interviendront le 10 septembre. \n\n\n\n« Workshop #1: Searching for objective measures of strategies in metacognition and SRL »\n\n\n\n\nWorkshop Objectives and Description\nSelf-Regulated Learning (SRL) and metacognition are closely related and interdependent families of processes (Winne & Hadwin\, 1998; Efklides\, 2011). Accessing these processes remains challenging because the measurement tools are not always suited to the ages of interest\, the cognitive task being studied\, or available and validated in multiple languages. Cognitive and metacognitive strategies are core mechanisms in both SRL and metacognition. In the SRL framework\, they allow to take numerous actions intended to achieve the learning goal. In the metacognition framework\, they allow to regulate and monitor cognition through anticipation\, planification\, and continuous control. Numerous strategies have been explored by self-reported or hetero-reported measurements like questionnaires\, interviews\, problem-solving or learning situations\, and much is known on developmental\, as well as differential\, determinants of strategy use. Yet\, the way strategies should be best measured is still under debate\, some researchers appealing for objective but hard-to-obtain\, direct and independent measures; when others use indirect\, easier to obtain\, but less objective ones. Indeed\, if both kinds of measures may provide interesting information about the strategies used\, even more objective measures seem preferable for scientific reliability.In this vein\, this workshop aims to put several measures of SRL and metacognition into a common pot to review all of them critically one by one\, asking two questions for each measure: does it allow for objectively measuring cognitive and/or metacognitive strategy? can its level of objectivity be enhanced? \n\n\n\n\n\n\nProgramme et informations EARLI SIG 16\n\n\n\nProgramme SCOPE LPCN\n\n\n\n\n\nSandrine Rossi est professeure au LPCN\, elle s’intéresse au développement cognitif de la pensée chez l’humain\, au processus d’autorégulation et à la métacognition. Elle est directrice adjointe du LPCN et fait partie de la direction de l’INSPE Normandie Caen. Elle est impliquée dans le programme de recherche SCOPE au LPCN.
